About this statement

This statement explains how Hey Ming collects personal data during registration, plan selection, sign-up for product updates and related services.

Purposes of collection

The account details and related data you provide are used to create and manage your account, verify your identity, record your plan choices, handle service or order requests, understand product demand, respond to enquiries and keep the Service secure.

If you use voice, image, location or caregiver features, relevant data is used to provide that feature and handled according to the explanation given at the time.

Required and optional data

The email and identity-verification data needed to create an account are required. Without them, we may be unable to create your account or handle the relevant request.

Providing survey responses and choosing to receive product updates are optional. You can register an account without doing either.

Microphone, camera and location permissions are used when needed for the corresponding features. If you decline a permission, that feature may not be available.

Data recipients

To the extent necessary for the purposes above, data may be shared with authorised personnel, system and AI service providers, relevant communications or payment providers, authorised caregivers and organisations lawfully entitled to receive it. Some data may be processed outside Hong Kong.

Product updates and offers

If you choose to receive updates, we will use your registered email address to send updates on Ming’s development, launch news and offers.

This choice is voluntary and separate from accepting the Terms of Use. You can withdraw your consent at any time, free of charge.
